Vox recently put out a video about housing policy that aligns with my Econ 101 view of the world:
We all want to affirm our own feelings based on the situations we are in, but projecting that onto others is a trap. Not that rationality is the cure to all ills, it isn't, but being data driven is important when it comes to decisions affecting other people's lives (like housing policy).
Maybe I am just rationalizing though 😊
